| Fresh Air Flicks on Cover of The New Yorker Magazine
August 17, 2009 — An inflatable outdoor movie screen provided by Fresh Air Flicks for the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy's 'Movies with a View' series appears on the August 24 cover of The New Yorker Magazine.
The illustration, by artist Adrian Tomine (http://www.adrian-tomine.com) depicts the outdoor movie scene from the audience perspective with the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and the lights of lower Manhattan in the background.
'The finished image was based on sketches, photos, and bit of artistic license.' says Tomine.
The 'Movies with a View' series runs on Thursday nights in Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park in Brooklyn, NY through September 3rd. For more information, visit www.bbpc.net.
