Fresh Air Flicks Chosen for Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy’s 7th Annual Summer Film Series

February 27, 2006 — Brooklyn, NY

For the 3rd consecutive year outdoor movie operator Fresh Air Flicks has been retained by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy (BBPC) for their 8 night summer film series, Movies with a View, under the world-famous Brooklyn Bridge at Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park.

Movies with a View, which will run every Thursday night from July 6th to August 24th, is one of the most popular outdoor cinemas in the Northeast. Fresh Air Flicks will once again provide its 2-story inflatable movie screen, sound system and digital projection each night for each screening.

Highlights of the successful 2005 series included an attendance record of over 3,500 for a screening of "Chinatown," starring Jack Nicholson and a personal appearance by New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg at a presentation of Tim Burton's "Big Fish."

"The unique experience and the beauty of the setting make this film series one of the most anticipated summer events in New York City," remarked Fresh Air Flicks President Glen Sanders. "We are thrilled that the Conservancy has once again chosen us to provide the highest quality equipment and service to this truly special New York City event."
