October 3, 2008 — Fresh Air Flicks Inflatable Movie Screen Appears in Feature Film,
"How to Lose Friends & Alienate People"

Brooklyn, NY – Outdoor movie company Fresh Air Flicks makes an appearance in the new comedy release "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People" starring Simon Pegg and Kirsten Dunst. The company's 2-story inflatable outdoor movie screen appears in the final scene of the film which takes place under New York's picturesque Brooklyn Bridge.

The scene was shot in September of 2007 in Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park below the Brooklyn Bridge, where Fresh Air Flicks provides technical services for the "Movies with a View" series of free film screenings. The summer series is produced by The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy (www.bbpc.net) and runs on Thursday nights in July and August.

Glen Sanders, President of Fresh Air Flicks sees the appearance of an inflatable movie screen in a feature film as a positive sign for the outdoor movie industry.

"Appearances in mainstream media are evidence that outdoor movies are becoming a part of popular culture," says Sanders. "As a result, corporate sponsors are beginning to take notice of this unique opportunity to reach consumers."

How to Lose Friends & Alienate People is a comedy about an intellectual who is conflicted about the world of celebrity and its associated fame, glitz, and glamour. After being offered a position that sends him down that same path, he is forced to come to terms with his conflict. The film, directed by Academy Award nominated and Emmy Award winner Robert Weide was released in the U.S. on October 3, 2008.

An outdoor movie on a Fresh Air Flicks screen is a safe, fun, community event that rekindles the nostalgia for the age of the drive-in movie. Sponsorship opportunities are available throughout the northeastern U.S. and nationwide. www.FreshAirFlicks.com.
